I met Ed on the curb of our church, waiting for a ride home.I introduced myself welcomed him as a new parishioner. He and Elaine and I became friends, I did his taxes. There was always something good just coming out of the oven, new things to show me, stories to tell, best of all having him play his organ for me. We are 6 months apart in age, I bet he never thought he would ever have a woman friend older than he was!I shared plants, herbs and flowers with him. He sent me many fun things via email, I had to curb that but he was very aware of the world around him and wanted to share. I will miss him as a friend, Elaine will still be here as a friend, keeping that oven hot.
